Wind River Mining LLC works to keep illegal funds off WRM2120. This policy follows applicable United States anti-money-laundering rules, including the Bank Secrecy Act and FinCEN requirements that apply to the activity.

1. Identity checks

We may ask you to verify your identity before a withdrawal is released. That can include a government photo ID, proof of address from the last 90 days, and a selfie that matches the ID. Higher-value activity may also require an explanation of the source of funds.

2. Monitoring

  • Transactions are reviewed for suspicious patterns.
  • Where the law requires it, reports are filed with FinCEN.
  • Users are screened against applicable sanctions lists, including OFAC.
  • Politically exposed persons may receive extra review.

3. Not allowed

  • People in jurisdictions where sanctions prohibit the service
  • Funds from illegal activity
  • Splitting transfers to avoid a report
  • Hiding the source of a transfer

4. Holds and records

We may freeze an account and report it to the authorities if activity looks suspicious. Identity and transaction records are kept for at least five years.
